The Wolfman is a remake of the 1941 film of the same name. Set in 1880′s Lawrence Talbot (Benicio Del Toro from Che) returns to his home in Blackmoor in Victorian Britain charged with task of finding his missing brother set by his brothers fiancée Gwen (Emily Blunt from The Young Victoria) and to reunite with his estranged father.
While searching for his brother it becomes apparent that something is plaguing Blackmoor and talks of an ancient curse – the curse of the lycanthorpe or werewolf run rampant among Blackmoor’s residents. Check out the trailer below.
The very watchable Benicio Del Toro leads an all star cast including the forever wonderful Anthony Hopkins (Hannibal) in this latest telling of the werewolf, and I must say this looks good. Clearly this is going to be very heavy on the special effects, just check out the transformation of the werewolf in the trailer. Let’s just hope they don’t get too carried away with the CGI and focus on moving the plot forward. TFB can’t wait for this to hit cinemas next year. Can you?
