Here at The Film Buzz we love all things film, and we love finding all those little gems scattered across the net. Popular film magazine Empire are running a competition to recreate classic films in 60 seconds called ‘Done in 60 Seconds’ and we at The Film Buzz are most impressed.

If you got a few minutes to kill, it’s well worth checking out the competition on the Empire site. Editors picks are: Top Gun, Avatar and Return of the Jedi shorts. You can also vote for your favourite. Just goes to show you what can be done with a next to nothing budget, a video camera and bunch of eager beaver friends.Takes me back to my media studies days when we used to take the video camera out and shoot some random nonsense that we made up. Ah it’s got my creative juices all flowing again.
