‘Challenge the Chance to Change’ group is set up by a group of youngsters who want to make a difference and has become part of this charity in hopes to raise as much money possible. Here is what they have to say:

We are passionate about making a change in developing countries, and being students, sometimes we take education for granted and sometimes even complain about it!

However, by being more aware of other countries who do not provide free education for children, we can understand what a great impact it can have on them and we just want to make a change.

We’ve been in maintenance mode for a few weeks now and we just want to say thank you for being patient with us as we get the last few kinks worked out, hopefully now the new look and feel of TFB will make coming to TFB a far more enjoyable experience.

Nicknamed ‘Mogsie’, she graduated in English from King’s College and loves her film. Mogsie regularly held film nights and got a real buzz from talking about plotlines, characters and the ‘OMG did you see that’ scenes. Mogsie is a varied filmster- she likes to experience all genres e.g. World Cinema, Thrillers, Romance, Cult movies, Action. She is a fan of great directors like Tarantino, Ridley Scott, Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, and loves films that give that extra bit of pure genius. Rare gems include ‘The Diving Bell and the Butterfly’, ‘American History X’, ‘Up’, ‘Matrix’, ‘Moon’, ‘Memento’, ‘District 9′, ‘Princess Mononoke’, ‘TrainSpotting’ among a vast array. Mogise thinks a mark of a good film is the ability for it to create a believeable experience, and then to transport the audience right into the middle of it.

Louisa enjoys a wide range of film genres, ranging from drama to comedy, fantasy to foreign language and documentaries to animated features.  Her favourite movie of all time is Some Like It Hot (1959), a classic romantic comedy starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon because it encompasses all the best aspects of film encapsulated into one picture.  Her favourite directors include the Coen brothers, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Tim Burton, Sam Mendes, Robert Rodriguez and Jean-Pierre Jeunet (to name but a few!)

Daniel is an ardent film buff, and has extensive knowledge regarding film and film history, having achieved the highest A grade of his class in his Cinema and Society: The United States, 1930-60 course unit at university. Daniel is also a History graduate and MA student, Martial Artist and practitioner of Choy Lee Fut/Sanda/Eskrima.

Thanks to you guys for visiting and commenting, we’ve had 600+ hits these 4 weeks from 32 countries all over the world, 140+ members on our Facebook Group, 23 followers on Twitter including film companies, Hollywood stuntmen and even Edward Cullen himself! Haha. And we haven’t really promoted this site much except to our friends, but we will do soon and hope that our reader audience will expand a hundred-fold!
