I came back from the cinema a few hours ago and I must admit, I feel still like I’ve woken up from a long and vivid dream. For the full 160 minutes of this enticingly lucid 3D movie, I was utterly blown away. The exhilarating special effects, the seat-gripping action, the mind-numbing Utopia that unfolds beautifully in 3D before our very eyes had me in euphoric rapture throughout.
James Cameron outdoes himself, with an honest, genuine and moving plot, this film has so many underlying messages – all subject to how you would like to interpret them. A ‘mother nature’ on Pandora that mirrors our very own, destroying precious greenery of another world exaggerating what we are doing to our own, and the battle of morality and greed, right and wrong – what a perfect formula for one of this year’s biggest Hollywood blockbuster. What is clever about this film is that Cameron takes all the elements of film that have been done before and manipulates them such that it looks like something we have never seen before.
This film knocked the breath out of me, especially as I wasn’t expecting an epic film as such. The trailer really didn’t do this film justice – there is way more packed into 160 minutes that isn’t shown or properly implied in the trailer. At 160 minutes, it is butt-numbing material, but I say it’s well worth it – be prepared to be transported to another paradise-like world.
Avatar is this year’s most triumphant cinematic spectacles, and is truly out of this world.

i loved avatar too! i am really glad they didnt show too much in the trailers, it really would have spoilt it as it would seem like uve seen the movie already when its revealed too much. people know its worth seein without even seein the trailer! i honestly didnt think it was gona be such a long movie, im glad it was long, the paradise like world seemed so perfect, i didnt want it to end.. when parts of their world began to fall apart, i felt the pain of the people =[ but again, i would watch this movie again and again
I am obbsessed with Avatar. anyway, I am so obbsessed I even talk the lang. I love everyone it. I no everythingbout it. I hope theres a no. 2 but it wont be as gr8 as the first.AVatar, is the best, if you havn watched it watch it It isa mazin!!!
